A double Polish National Champion Stallion (as both Junior and Senior) ALERT belongs to the group of Pure Polish stallions (descending from a sire and dam line considered to be historically Polish) and the rightful successor to his sire PIAFF. Interestingly, ALERT is the fifth consecutive Polish National Champion Stallion in an unbroken line of his male ancestors, starting with PARTNER, through PENITENT, ELDON, PIAFF and ALERT himself.
Like ALERT, his sire PIAFF is also a double Polish National Champion Stallion, both as a Junior and Senior. PIAFF has also been named US National Senior Top Ten Stallion and WAHO Trophy honoree. He descends from Janów Podlaski’s famed P-line of champions, which among others gave the world PIANISSIMA. PIAFF is a son of the iconic Janów Podlaski broodmatron PIPI, making him a sibling to an entire group of elite equines, such as champion chief sire PILOT, champion mares PISTACJA, PIKARDIA, broodmares PILICA (dam of champion broodmare PALMETA), PILAR (dam of Platinum World Champion PINGA PIETA, PINTA, PILAROSA, PIBA, POMIAN) & PRERIA (dam of PRIMERA).
ALERT’s dam ANDALUZJA infuses her son’s all-Polish pedigree with a hint of Straight Egyptian blood as one of just a few SANADIK EL SHAKLAN get born in Poland. Sold at the 2011 Pride of Poland for 100 thousand Euro, ANDALUZJA is remembered as a superb mover, known for her flying trot with a great suspension phase. Maternally ANDALUZJA, traces to family foundress ANGOLA, Masters Open Reserve Champion & Polish National Senior Champion Mare.
