BRASILIANA is a young 3-year-old filly with an extremely rare pedigree perfect for outcrossing with modern stallions from popular sire lines.
She is sired by double Polish National Champion Stallion ALERT, a leading representative of the Ilderim d.b. sireline and the rightful successor to PIAFF, a highly titled Arabian specimen as Polish National Junior & Senior Champion, US National Senior Top Ten Stallion and WAHO Trophy honoree, among others. Furthermore, ALERT is the fifth consecutive Polish National Champion in an unbroken line of his male ancestors, starting with PARTNER, through PENITENT & ELDON to PIAFF and ALERT himself.
BRASILIANA’s maternal sire is POLON, a horse bearing an exceptional pedigree, as he is the son of EKSTERN and PIANOSA. Nine times shown and nine times crowned champion, EKSTERN is a European Triple Crown winner and sire champion-producing broodmares. Whereas PIANOSA, a Białka Junior Spring Show Champion Mare & Best in Show, Polish National Senior Reserve Champion Mare and Falborek Senior Reserve Champion Mare, has forever written herself down in history as the dam of PIANISSIMA, a model Arabian mare that set the breed standard. A twice Polish National Champion and twice European Triple Crown (as both junior and senior), US National Champion, Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival Gold Champion and Dubai International Gold Champion Mare, she was the first ever mare awarded the prestigious World Platinum Champion title at the Salon du Cheval in Paris.
BRASILIANA comes from the rare damline of Adjuze d.b., imported to Babolna Stud. A group of 14 mares from Babolna found its way to Poland after World War II, among which was the mare BRYŁA, who established a branch of this damline in Poland. The damline thrived in Kurozwęki Stud and its mares are known for being prolific (BRAMINKA – 10 foals, BRANDY – 10, BREDA – 11 BRUGIA – 5 so far).
