PIAZZA is a granddaughter of PANONIA, a maternal sister to such well-known champion mares as PINGA, PILAROSA, PINTA and PIBA.

PANONIA has also produced POTENTILLA (Polish National Junior Top Five, Prague Intercup Senior Bronze Champion Mare, Prague European Cup Senior Gold Champion, World Senior Top Ten, Bruges Arabian Horse Event Senior Silver Champion, European Senior Top Five) and PROMETIDA (Junior Spring Show Yearling Silver Champion) – dam of PALADIN AA (Menton Yearling Bronze Champion Colt, Elran Cup Yearling Silver Champion Colt). PANONIA’s stellar producing abilities are the gifts of her regal dam PILAR, one of the leading continuers of the “P” line family of PIEWICA. A Polish National Junior Champion, PILAR ultimately bloomed in the breeding barn, producing a host of champion-winning offspring: PINGA, PINTA, PIETA, PIBA, PIZARRO & PILAROSA. On the rare opportunities that PILAR and her daughters were offered at the Pride of Poland Auctions, they have all gone on to become the highest-selling equines of their sales: PINTA at 500 thousand, PIETA at 300 thousand and PILAR herself at 240 thousand.

PIAZZA’s sire is ALMANZOR, a stallion bearing the Pure Polish brand (descending from sire and damlines considered to be historically Polish). He is a combination of two legendary breeding programs: of Babolna in Hungary and Kuhailans in Janów Podlaski, descending from the famous ALGERIA. ALMANZOR’s sire is EL NABILA B, a Babolnian-bred Brazilian National Champion, Arabian Breeders World Cup Champion and US National Champion. On his dam’s side ALMANZOR derives directly from ALGERIA, the progenitor of the best Kuhailan-type horses in Janów Podlaski. ALGERIA’s line has been prolonged through her best-producing daughter ALBIGOWA, whose subsequent generations gave chief sires such as ALBANO, ALBEDO and AMANITO, as well as numerous show champions: ALTONA, ALABAMA, ATMA, ATANDA, ATAKAMA, ALTAMIRA, AGADEZ, ANGURIA, ANAWERA , AMRA, ADYGA, AL NARCISO, AMARENA, AL JAZEERA, AMIRATA and the sensation of the 2024 season – ADELITA.
