PILAGRE is a daughter of PIAFF, a double Polish National Champion Stallion, both as a junior and a senior. PIAFF has also been named US National Senior Top Ten Stallion and WAHO Trophy honoree. A son of the peerless PIPI, PIAFF is a sibling to an entire group of elite equines, such as broodmares PILICA (dam of PALMETA), PILAR (dam of PIETA, PINGA, PINTA, PILAROSA, PIBA, POMIAN) & PRERIA (dam of PRIMERA).

Her maternal sire POGROM descends from the same P-line as PIAFF. POGROM took America by storm in 2013, becoming a US Triple Crown Winner as Scottsdale Supreme Champion, Arabian Breeders World Cup Champion & US National Champion Stallion, beating many of the most respected and acclaimed stallions from all over the globe. He has been acknowledged on home soil as well, being named Junior Spring Show Gold Champion & Best in Show, Polish National Gold Champion Stallion as both junior and senior. In 2023 he was awarded the WAHO Trophy for an outstanding individual of the Arabian breed for successes achieved by his daughters as broodmares at stud.

Pilagre traces directly to broodmare of importance PARMA. Born at Tersk, PARMA enriched Polish breeding with Egyptian influence via her sire ASWAN and grandsire NAZEER, gifting the breed with an incredible number of 21 foals. Most importantly these included as many as five international champions and chief sires of considerable merit: European & Polish National Reserve Champion PARTNER, World Cup & Polish National Champion, as well as Race Horse of the Year PAMIR, German National Reserve Champion PASAT, Brazilian National Champion POLONEZ and Polish National, Swedish National Champion and World Reserve Champion PARYS.
